Without throwing any cliches in here for us Workerettes, I have to say, "Let's go shopping!"
Mind you, I'm not normally a shopaholic (that's one of my best friends, actually), but when it comes to books, especially books I can use for work-related matters, girlfriend, I'm in. So of course I had to blab here about the email I just got from Barnes & Noble about their business book sale. 20 - 40% off plus free shipping in 3 days or less...and you get an additional 10% off if you have a membership with them.
Obviously they sucked me right into the concept of viral marketing, as I mentioned over at SmallBizMentor, but in this case, I don't mind. This isn't just any sale, it's books, and I'm betting you like to save money as much as I do. Plus I can do my browsing from my own home office, which means I don't have to head to the store and deal with lines or people with colds sneezing nearby or my daughter running rampant while she begs to hit the kids' section. Therefore, to me, it's worth it.
Shopping jokes aside, thanks.
