I just had to pick up a copy of the latest issue of Country Living magazine when I saw the header on their cover deeming it "the women entrepreneurs issue". Workerettes who are considering making the leap from corporate cubby to home office heaven will want to take a look at the March 2006 edition of this publication (which is normally fun to flip through anyway).
This magazine is totally focused on the theme, with nice big features on women like fabric designer Jennifer Paganelli (founder of Sis Boom) and soapmakers Lisa de Vogelear and Shannon Burch (of Brickhouse Soap). The cover feature about starting your own business offers quotes from eight female entrepreneurs who will inspire you to "Bank on Your Bliss". The emphasis is on "crafty" businesses, but what a spread. Country Living did a beautiful job on this concept, and I bet you'll come away ready to build your own business or, at the very least, shop with some of these gals' companies!
