According to this article from 1 February 2006, women in East England now have a new funding opportunity available. In order to encourage entrepreneurs, the One Vision, One Voice consortium has been awarded a funding contract that will allow them to offer support and resources to women at all phases of their business building endeavors.
The contract was awarded after the group provided "unique model offering a new approach to delivering women's enterprise support across the region." The consortium includes at least 7 members, with each member organization providing specialized resources in their area of expertise. Women taking advantage of the program will be able to access information about starting and building their businesses and utilizing technology and learning about social enterprise and micro-business operation.
