Now there's an interesting term I hadn't heard applied to working mothers just yet.  Turns out Lisa Martin has written a book entitled Briefcase Moms: 10 Proven Practices to Balance Working Mothers' Lives and also founded an organization created to support and encourage working moms as they seek balance between family and career. 

The Briefcase Moms website offers resources not only for the moms themselves but also for organizations and companies who want to help employees as they try to spin all their plates.  Whether you're trying to retain parents who need to get their ducks in a row (and need the support of their family and employer to do so) or you're one of those employees, their offerings may be of interest.
