April Fool's Day, a great excuse to play a prank, or have fun with your co-workers and family. Wikipedia lists some famous pranks and hoaxes that have gone down in history.
In the 1950's Dutch television reported that the Tower of Pisa had fallen down, and received many calls from the mourning public. In 1997, Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak, traded jobs with Jeoaprdy's host Alex Trebek for one show, and in 1957 the BBC reported it was time for the annual spaghetti tree harvest, which is considered to be one of the most successful TV hoaxes of all-time.
The best April Fool's Day prank I ever pulled off was in high school. My friend and I put baby powder on the driver's seat of her brother's car. We patted it in so it wasn't visible, but when he got out of the car to go into school, he had a white butt! Not as big as the BBC's spaghetti tree harvest, but it suited our purpose.
