Wow...I just finished reading an email from the Moms in Business Network (MIBN) announcing their 2006 National Create Your Dreams Award winners. What a bunch of incredible folks!
- Lillian Vernon was chosen as the Create Your Dreams Award Honoree. Catalog industry mogul, mom, she's the total package!
- Joy Thomas, professional musician and Senior Director of Business Planning for the Renal business of Baxter Healthcare Corporation has been named the Working Mother of the Year.
- Carolyn Gable's inspirational story of going from single mom of seven (with no college education) to waitress, beautician, and later founder of a multi-million dollar transportation brokerage company earned her the Luminary Award.
- Linda Bergendahl-Pauling, founder of the Make A Wish Foundation has been named the 2006 Woman of Courage.
- The founders of the Direct Selling Women's Alliance (DSWA) are the Working Mother Advocate of the Year.
- Last but not least, Verizon Communications was named National Company of the Year.
