Have you met Lisa Barker yet? I recently ran across this award-winning author's syndicated humor column while searching for "home based business humor". OH my word.
Since the issues involved with home-based businesses (including those things you say on the phone when you can't really say what you mean) have been noted over at SmallBizMentor.com recently, I decided to scope out the market and see who else had funnies to share. The article that drew me into Lisa's site was entitled "The Hazards of Working from Home". Which led me to "Forget Abu Ghraib, Use Toddlers." That led me to "All in a Day's Work".
I'd share more, but my ribs hurt from laughing so hard, my almost-five-year-old wants to know why I'm laughing ("Can I see, can I see, huh huh huh huh huh?"), the dog just ran face-first into the sliding glass door, I've got emails to answer and the UPS guy just rang the bell.
'Nuff said...whether you're a WAHM, SAHM, WOHM (Work Outside Home Mom) or anywhere in between...go visit Lisa Barker at JellyMom.com next time you need a good laugh.
Remember, ladies, "that which does not kill us makes us stronger."
(The person who coined that phrase must have raised children long enough to have grandchildren through which to wreak havoc and take revenge.)

HILARIOUS. I'd like to meet Lisa ... just not her kids! :)
