While we're touching on happenings on the international level, go check out this exciting news about the women of India and Bangladesh pulling together professionally despite political differences. According to reports on Financial Express and The Daily Star, a memorandum of understanding was recently signed by the Women Entrepreneur's Association (WEA, of Bangladesh) and the Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE).
The two groups will work together to help women identify business and social problems in their areas and to encourage and invest in each others' business efforts. The groups plan to market women's businesses in urban and rural areas, on both national and world-wide levels to provide them with exposure within their countries and globally.
