As you've seen over the past few weeks, a good number of the Workerettes I've interviewed for our "Meet & Greet" sessions are hands-on gals. They are taking their passion to create art, heirlooms, and memories and passing them on not only to customers (who purchase the hand-crafted treasures) but also to other like-minded entrepreneurs who want to become independent contractors for established companies.
If your fingers are itching to make something and your mind is begging to write a business plan, take a cue from Maria Palma, Jessica Harvey, and Lisa Barthuly. Find your crafty niche and build something from it. In honor of these Workerettes who have taken the leap of faith, inspired by a favorite project, I've got some links for those of you who are feeling froggy and ready to jump with your own supplies and ideas.
