As I mentioned back in February, I want each of you Workerette visitors to have the opportunity to get to know other women in business on a more personal level. We are all accustomed to the more traditional methods of networking and resources and groups for doing so are frequently posted here for you to check into.
More and more often, though, the Internet can be just as advantageous to us for "meet and greets" as the face-to-face gatherings. After all, where else can you shoot a list of questions off to a colleague or mentor in the middle of the night without disturbing them? Where else can you glean wisdom from those who have gone before you in the business world without making an appointment or toot your own horn without spending a penny?
