I found two incredible books during a library trip today. The first, Inside Every Woman: Using the 10 Strengths You Didn't Know You Had to Get the Career and Life You Want Now, was brand new on the shelf and pulled me write in. As I flipped through it, I immediately noticed that it's meant to be easy on the eyes, but it's well-structured for the mind.
According to the flyleaf, the author (Vickie L. Milazzo, RN, MSN, JD) "has dedicated her life to training and mentoring tens of thousands of women to step out and realize their boldest visions for life and career." Owner of the Vickie Milazzo Institute (which she founded in the early 1980s), Milazzo earned a spot on the Inc. list of Top 10 Entrepreneurs.
Milazzo claims in her book that each of us women has "10 Feminine Forces", which we already possess, that can be harnessed and used to power us toward achieving our goals. The forces are:
- Inner fire
- Intuitive vision
- Engagement
- Agility
- Genius
- Integrity
- Endurance
- Enterprise
- Renewal
- Fusion
