The USA Today is reporting on a new deal between General Mills and a milk-maker to start production of cereal flavored milk products. So far on the list are Trix, Cocoa Puffs, and Wheaties.
More possibilities include Lucky Charms, Booberry, and Frankenberry. I don't think I will like the flavored drinks, but if it gets kids to drink milk, I say why not! The article doesn't talk about price or nutritional value, but I'm sure it will be higher than a gallon of regular Vitamin D milk, and contain more sugar.
A spokesman for General Mills says they are trying to get the product on the market for back to school season in September. So mom's, will you have Trix flavored milk in your refrigerator?
