Remember Dawna Stone, winner of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart? Her win wasn't just for show. Stone's apprenticeship is as vice president, director of development for Body + Soul magazine. As an avid watcher of the show, I was surprised to see Dawna make it so far, but by the final episode I was actually rooting for her.
Now she's writing a column in Body + Soul along with what sounds like about a million other things over at MSLO, and personally I'm excited to see what she has to offer. Don't forget, Stone is the founder of Her Sports magazine too, so she's no newbie to the health and fitness genre. The column she'll be writing, though, focuses on her...and the changes she'll go through as she "goes natural" with the help of experts over at the wellness publication.
The first article (in the current issue of B + S) is an excellent introduction to both Stone and Pilates, the first item she's tackling on the list of changes in an attempt "to make life more mindful, natural, and balanced." The fun part of all this is that not only is she writing a print column, she's also blogging! You can visit her blog and get the inside scoop a little faster. Personally I really enjoyed her post about "When Opportunity Knocks". I'm thinking she won't be shy about asking for much in the future...a good example for us all! Auditory learners, you can also listen to her new radio show, Health and Fitness Talk with Dawna Stone, on Sirius Satellite 112.

My copy came over the weekend and I was happy to see her in there.I also chuckled at her frankness when discussing her disdain for pilates at the beginning. I still liked hyper-guy Jim but alas....
