My colleague Noelle Wong (founder of iN-Image! Inc. and author of KMM's ImageAide.com) just sent me her responses to the "Meet & Greet" questionnaire. She has a lot of insight to share, especially about how a formal education can both help and hinder an entrepreneur's efforts.

* Please describe the business you operate or service(s) you provide to clients and customers.
Image consulting services that aim at transforming the outer image for clients. Services include: color, body and personality analysis, wardrobe planning, personal shopping, make up lesson, etiquette and presentation workshops. Service both private and corporate clients.
* What was the inspiration, or the catalyst for, the creation of your business endeavor?
The seed was sown while I was in university, when I watched my peers making one presentation after another. I was bored unless the person sounded and looked good, as well as presenting a good solution to the case they were presenting. A mental vision came into my mind, and I saw myself helping clients with how they can increase their presence using clothing, grooming and effective communication skills.
* What steps did you follow to build your business? Are you still in the process of planning your endeavor?
I studied all I could about image consulting and entrepreneurship through mentors and taking classes. I experimented in my early days with my family and friends. I have planned for this for a long time, so now I just go for it. The planning part comes when changes need to be made.
