Next week marks the 2006 Women's Business Conference hosted by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). The conference will take place at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, California, June 1st thru June 3rd. The theme of this year's conference is "Women Entrepreneurs: Owning the Future".
A multitude of meetings will take place for NAWBO members, including presentations of various awards, debriefing of outgoing chapter presidents and special welcomes for new members. Educational sessions will include topics such as branding, winning in business, creating a balanced life, and wine business etiquette. Keynote speakers include Maria de Lourdes Sobrino (founder of LuLu's Dessert) and Stan Slap (founder of consulting company Slap), and it looks like there will be interesting presentations from Make Mine a $Million and even a morning yoga session.
Registration is available on their website. Attendees may select special leadership training for Wednesday, 31 May, in addition to a full conference pass or one-day only registration options.
