Do we have any Workerettes planning on being in the Orlando area next week? Turns out the National Association of Women Business Owners is hosting an expo next Tuesday (16 May) where women in biz can get together and network. While the focus is on women-owned businesses, the menfolk are welcome too.
The point of the gathering is to create a comfortable "networking cocktail party" where participants can show off their wares and get to know others in the business community. Other groups hosting the expo include eWomenNetwork, Business and Professional Women and the Hispanic-American Professional and Business Women's Association.
Tickets are $10 at the door ($5 for advance purchase) and attendees will have access to hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar in addition to roundtable discussions and vendor booths.
