About.com published a list of suncreens that have been said to be "the best."
- La Roche. It was hard to find this product in U.S. stores, but now it can be found. It has the chemical 'Mexoryl' which protects the skin from wrinkle-causing UVA rays. You can also purchase the SPF 60 sunscreen on line at zitomer.com.
- Frog Superblock SPF 45. Experts swear by this because it is long-lasting and protects even the fairest skin.
- Eucerin Extra Protective Moisture Lotion SPF 30 is good for people with dry skin because it contains a moisturizer, plus microfine zinc and titanium oxides to protect against UVA and UVB rays.
Personally for my three-year old with sensitive skin, my pediatrician recommends Bullfrog. I've found it works really well. It's water proof, and lasts all day. The rule of thumb is to make sure the sunscreen has an SPF of at least 15 for protection to prevent premature wrinkles, and skin damage.
