WNBA Celebrating 10 Years

USA Today gives the ladies the credit they deserve, giving them some publicity to help open their tenth season tomorrow, Saturday, May 20th.

The league has implemented some changes in honor of the 10th anniversary.  There will now be four quarters instead of two halves, and there will now be a 24 second shot clock.  The league's president, Donna Orender, says television ratings were up last season, but attendance has slipped from 11,000 a game in 1998, to roughly only 8,000 last year.

I hope people continue to support the women who work just as hard as the male athletes, but don't get nearly enough promotion!
