- Lightly oil the grate before turning on the grill.
- Marinate meats for at least 20 minutes to help lock in flavor and tenderize.
- Apply sauces several minutes prior to completion of cooking to avoid overcooking and burning the sugars in the sauce.
- Make sure you use proper utensils that are long enough, and that are made to withstand high temperatures.
- Don't just stick to burgers and dogs, get creative. You can grill veggies, corn on the cob, fish, ribs, pork chops, ham, Italian sausages, etc.
Ladies once you start, I bet you'll love it. I even choose to use the grill in the winter months. The best part is, it cuts down on the pots and pans you have to wash!
