Meet & Greet: Bud Bilanich, the Common Sense Guy (Part 1)

As I mentioned recently, Bud Bilanich may not be a "Workerette" per se, but he is incredibly supportive of women in business.  He shares a great deal of wisdom through his work, and he's taken the time to reach out to me, personally, through another Know More Media blog, SmallBizMentor.com.  Bud has a great deal of experience that everyone in business, male or female, home-based or corporate level, can learn from.

I'm sure you'll want to visit Bud's website and blog to see more of what he has to say.  If you need to get a hold of him, you can reach him by phone at 303-393-0446 or by email at Bud[at]BudBilanich.com!  For now, meet Bud Bilanich!

* Please describe the business you operate or service(s) you provide to clients and customers.

Four separate but related businesses:

  • Keynote Speaker
  • Executive Coach
  • Management Consultant
  • Publisher

Keynote Speaker:

I've taken all that I've learned in over 30 years in the business, and have created six dynamic presentations.  All of these presentations are full of "Common Sense, but Uncommon Wisdom"; simple, but powerful, ideas that lead to success.

I'm a storyteller.  I use stories to help people understand my message and to engage them.  My stories cut across the range of human emotions.  They are funny, sad, hopeful, frustrating.  But they all have one thing in common.  They provide useful advice.

Executive Coach:

I work with senior executives in one-to-one coaching.  Examples of the types of clients I work with are:

  • Senior executives who need a sounding board
  • Executives in transition
  • High-potential employees
  • Problem performers

Management consultant:

Most of my consulting work involves enhancing the performance of teams and organizations.

Publisher:

I have authored and published four books: 4 Secrets of High Performing Organizations: Beyond the Flavor of the Month to Lasting Results; Leading with Values: A Handbook; Using Values to Turn Vision into Reality; and Supervisory Leadership and the New Factory.
