* What accomplishments are you most proud of during your career? Has your business or product won any awards, mentions in the press, garnered praise in reviews or by users, or helped someone overcome a challenge of their own? Tell us about it!
I am a published author. My name is on the front of a book! There will be others, but the rush of the first published novel is amazing and the reviews and sales were wonderful. I hope to have it optioned as a movie, so cross your fingers!
I was also a juror for the Rhode Island State Council of the Arts Fellowship in 2004, and teach for adult education organizations in the area. I love seeing the spark in the eye of a potential professional writer.
* Have you worked with a mentor who has led you far? Take a moment to recognize their contribution(s) and we'll all applaud with you!
My mentor wouldn't want to be mentioned. He's a very private guy, but I wouldn't have been so inspired without his support and encouragement.
* Without spilling the beans, what is in the works for your business or product line for 2006? Where are you headed, and where do you hope to be by the end of the year? What about the coming years? Share your goals with us and tell us how you plan to achieve them.
I hope to have completed the first draft of my next novel. After that it's revisions, revisions, revisions before I go into marketing mode. I also hope to build up my freelancing business so I can support my novel writing.
