If you're a working mom who is employed by a small company that you just adore, you can nominate them for an award from Working Mother magazine.
Working Mother is accepting nominations of small companies (those that have between 5 and 100 employees) for their second annual Working Mother Entrepreneur Award. They are looking for companies that have used innovative methods to create women and family-friendly programs for their workers, such as benefits for families of all sizes, options for women who want to advance in their careers, flex-time schedules, lactation rooms, and the like.
If you'd like to nominate your employer for the 2007 awards, go to WorkingMother.com before September 29th, 2006. In October, they will send out a survey to companies that must be responded to by October 31st. Be sure to let the contact person or company owner know how important it is that they respond -- last year more than two dozen companies were put in the spotlight thanks to these awards!
