I just posted information about this organization over at SmallBizMentor, but it's so interesting to me that I just had to pass it along to my sister Workerettes as well! One of the questions I'm asked most frequently when I say I work from home is "how can I do that too?" As a writer, it's a lot easier for me than it is for folks in other fields to get started working from home. After all, most writers do work from home! However, if you're looking for ways to start your own business to bring in some income since you're already at home, or if you are trying to figure out how you can bring your current career into a home office, this organization may have some resources worth your while.

A membership to HBWM costs $69, and they offer a variety of benefits, including free advertising in their publications, cross-promotion and publicity opportunities, business-building and development resources, and fun things like a free t-shirt.
