In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, tons of companies are producing pink items that are not only snazzy and profit-creating, but for a good cause. You've already seen some lists of the goodies that have me itching to do a little "shopping for the cure", but I recently came across another handful in the brand new Pendleton catalog that arrived in my mailbox this week.
Pendleton's Weaving for Life line includes a plaid muffler and merino throw in a gorgeous series of pinks. If you happen to know a man who is secure enough to wear a pink shirt, they've even got the "Sir Pendleton" wool shirt available. The items range from $40 up to $98, plus shipping, of course. All three are made of 100% pure virgin wool woven in their Northwest mill.
For every item sold, Pendleton will contribute to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. They state that a minimum contribution of $30,000 is guaranteed.
