A female as "Commander in Chief" seems like it could happen as USA Today reports on women gaining ground in the Senate. They say if the polls stay true, there will be a record number of women in the Senate next year, up from a current all-time high of 14--9 Democrats and 5 Republicans.
Until the late 1990's, there had never been more than 10 female senators at any one time. Are voters getting used to seeing female politicians? Are Americans changing their perceptions about a female holding the office of President?
So, would you vote for a female if she was qualified? Give me a good reason why a female could not lead this country.
