Today's USA Today is reporting the recall of Hasbro's popular Easy Bake Oven. Hasbro agreed to recall nearly 1 million of the oven's after almost 30 reports of children's hands getting caught in the opening of the door. Five of those incidents also reported children getting burned.
The purple and pink plastic toys were sold at Toys R Us, Target, Wal-Mart, and other retailers from May 2006 through this month for about $25. Consumers should contact Easy-Bake at 800-601-8418 for a free retrofit kit with a consumer warning.
