- Want to save time in your cleaning routine? Spray a broom with some furniture polish -- it will keep dust from flying everywhere as you sweep!
- Drink and grow rich? According to a recent study in the Journal of Labor Research, women who drink earn 14 percent more than their teetotaling counterparts. Apparently this is due to the fact that drinking can equal networking. (Now wait one minute! Wouldn't this work with a good conversation and a cuppa joe instead of alcohol?)
- Need to clean a different sort of house? If you plan to fire someone, say it straight. Don't drop hints and think others will "get" what you mean. It's least painful if you just inform the person directly that you know longer need their services. (Note to employers: firing via email? RUDE. Call them up, even if they are telecommuters you never see face to face. They'll respect you much more, even if they aren't happy about your decision to cut them loose.)
