A gal pal and I were discussing blog entries today and one thing she mentioned wanting to see more of here on Workerette.com is information about budgeting. Well now, if there's one thing I'm learning, it's that there are lots of interesting blogs out there for folks trying to bulk up their budget, stretch their savings, and stash their cash.
It's hard to get around to all of them, even when networking in the blogosphere is part of your job description, so here are five fun posts from frugal and budget-minded bloggers to get you started. Let me know if you find anyone whose blog you go to time and time again for advice, ideas, suggestions, or tips.
- Jenn over at Frugal Upstate posted some great links and ideas about unusual ways to use your grill. My folks got hubby a grill for his birthday; I may have to put him to work testing some of these recipes out (pizza, anyone?).
- The Frugal Homemaker just posted some great ideas for frugal anniversary dates. You can bet I read that closely with my first anniversary coming up soon!
- Andrew Cardon of Everybody Loves Coupons posted some important information about fraudulent Proctor & Gamble coupons.
- Crystal Paine of Biblical Womanhood found some serious bargains over at Walgreens. (Be sure to visit Crystal for Frugal Fridays too!)
- Lindsey over at Finding Contentment in the Suburbs posted recently about the "B" word: "BORED"! She gives a whole gob of free ways to beat boredom; go check them out - they aren't just for kids.
