Women at work and their tips, challenges, advice, complaints, and experiences

Those of you who have been visiting Workerette since last summer will recall this post about Lily magazine from May 2006, discussing the periodical and how lovely it was.  Soon after I found Lily, however, the publication was discontinued by Meredith Corporation.  Ladies continued to search for it to no avail, and I received gobs of comments here at Workerette asking for Lily to resume publication, even though Know More Media and Workerette.com have no affiliation with the magazine.

Apparently these folks, and more, must have gotten through to the team that worked at Lily originally, because I received a different comment this past weekend: a notice that Lily's spot in the market has been filled again by a new publication called Life: Beautiful.

Here's what our anonymous commenter (whom I assume is affiliated with the new publication somehow) had to say:

Exciting news!!! A brand new Christian woman's lifestle magazine is coming out the end of July. Take a look at the website: Lifebeautifulmagazine.net

I have indeed taken the time to go check out their website, and for those of you who enjoyed the original Lily magazine, I suggest you hop over there as well.  It looks like a good replacement for Lily, from the sound of things.
