
Workerettes, please take note of this important product recall notice. Whether you're a mom, a gramma, or know someone who has a baby (or one on the way), you'll want to read this over. If your child is in daycare or cared for by a nanny, be sure to check with them as well to verify that they are aware of the recall and have taken proper steps toward safety with your baby.
Make sure that if you have an Infantino SlingRider you check the model number against their recall list. There are certain models that are not affected by the recall.

Infantino SlingRider®
The plastic slider on the fabric strap can break. This can cause the strap supporting the carrier to release and infants to fall out of the carrier. This product was sold from July 24, 2006 through February 23, 2007. Only products marked "Made in China" are affected by this recall. If you own one of the SlingRider® models listed below please discontinue using the product immediately.

- Model 151-210 – Black Toile with Coolmax UPC 773554512106
- Model 151-528 – Black Toile UPC 773554515282

It seems like there is a new product recall everyday. I am especially concerned about all the recalls on children's toys and household products. I set up a personal file that alerts me to all product recalls and it sends me a timely notice when one of my products has been recalled.
