As you've probably guessed, the Festival of Frugality is one of my favorite blog carnivals out there. I was a little bummed to not have access to my computer from the hospital, just because I wanted to see what sort of moneysavers the participants came up with this time around. Thankfully these sort of things stay in folks' archives and are just a quick search away. Tight Fisted Miser was the host this time around. Yay!
Here are a couple of my favorites, which won't expire if you don't get right to 'em because the hospital walls are too thick for your wireless Internet to work. ;-P
- Here's one I wouldn't have thought of: Boat Show Financing - Never, Ever Use It over at The Credit & Credit Card Blog.
- You can save on medications for pets thanks to the Golden Fleece Blog post about how to Avoid Vet Prices and Save Big on Pet Meds. (We invested in pet insurance last year, which I always thought was pathetic until Muttly broke a molar and it was looking like there would be an $800 bill!)
- And this one deserves mention just because of the great post title: Senior Money Pit aka Grandchildren (over at Graceful Retirement).
