If you have kids, you're probably dealing with summer activity issues. Doesn't it seem like there are times when there is way too much going on, and then the next week there's "nothing to doooo"? If you need a little inspiration, try some of these ideas on for size. Some of them might even work for grown-ups who need to relax and recharge!
- Wondertime magazine has a list of wading pool games that are both fun and educational.
- Water sound good? Try investing in a sand and water table. My daughter can't get enough of hers, and on really hot days it's easier to just fill the whole thing up with water and let her have a hey-day.
- Live in an area that isn't sunny and 75 all the time? (I'm looking out the window to 60 and rain, personally.) Try some play clay. I spotted a recipe on the back of a can of corn starch the other day that we may try out. You can find the recipe online as well.
