Every Workerette knows how important it is to plan ahead and try to streamline things like grocery shopping, meal preparation, and kitchen storage in order to (hopefully!) add a few more minutes to the day.
Whether you're a single Workerette trying to plan things out so you'll eat something other than fast food, a working mom with a large family at home, or an empty nester ready to really relish your time in the kitchen, Menu Plan Mondays can get you started. I've learned a lot from the other ladies who participate, and hopefully I can pass on a few suggestions here on my own as well.
This week I'm using up the last of what's in the freezer and fridge as we head to temporary lodging on Thursday afternoon. You'll see a lot of "sandwiches" over the next week - feel free to assume that we're having PB&J or whatever else I could fix up in the hotel room!
- Monday: Meat Lasagna
- Tuesday: Mediterranean Chicken & Noodles
- Wednesday: Teriyaki Chicken
- Thursday: Sandwiches
- Friday: Sandwiches
- Saturday: Sandwiches
- Sunday: Leftovers (we're going to a family going away BBQ - hopefully there will be leftovers; if not, you guessed it: sandwiches!)
Be sure to visit Laura and the other bloggers participating in Menu Plan Monday for more great ideas (and recipes) for your meal planning!
