Okay gals, I couldn't resist. I had to head out into the blogosphere and read more wonderful blogs. It's addictive - there are just so many fun and fascinating people out there in cyberland! Amazing how we can reach out and learn from (and laugh with) other women today in ways we never could have as recently as twenty years ago, isn't it?
Well, I promised you 5 posts worth reading, and I'm sure you want to get to it, so here they are!
- Want to save on gas? Try making home the best place to be. Major hat tip to Lindsey of Finding Contentment in the Suburbs for pointing out this great post entered at Life Along the Homeschooling Journey.
- Lindsey herself is posting a fantastic series for folks interested in becoming frugal foodies (say that five times fast, y'all!) over at her other blog, Enjoy the Journey. Make sure you read all of the segments so far. They are excellent - as is her quote in her title header. *applause*
- Dr. Alan Greene wrote up a post with a fascinating idea for dealing with kids at bedtime: bedtime passes. My daughter was doing really well there for a while about not getting out of bed unless it was "for an emergency or to go potty", but not the past few weeks. We've tried to be kind about it since it's probably due to having a new sibling born and getting ready to move - but I am loving this idea. If we continue to have issues after the move, this is a tactic that will be tried for sure!
- Loni over at Finding Joy in the Morning reprinted a lovely, inspiring poem by Ruth Graham for us moms, when the days are long. If your day has been a long one, grab a Kleenex first.
- This last one is a photo from a Wordless Wednesday entry. Liz over at Monkey Kisses has offered up a gorgeous "summer rain" picture that you just have to see. Go ooh and ah. Isn't it lovely? Nice work, Liz!

That's a nice group of links! I enjoyed clicking through them. Good picks!
