Know More: Family Issues, Health & Wellness, New Parents, Product Recalls 2.0, Health & Wellness

Multiple product recalls on items for babies and children have occured over the past few weeks. I'm sure most of you have already heard about the Simplicity/Graco crib recall thanks to MSNBC and other news outlets. As seems to be the trend lately, there are gobs of toy recalls as well. *sigh* Make sure you also check your older kids' play areas, toy boxes, and vanities for these items:

Please check over each of these recalls closely to see if your children or those of friends, family, or coworkers might be affected.

These recalls are getting out of hand. I'm afraid that this is only the beginning and we're going to see alot more as we get into the Christmas time. I now go to www.leadtoyrecalls.com every day to make sure I have the latest news.

Thanks for the site tip, Anonymous! I agree - I too fear what/how many recalls are still to come. Scary, no? But hopefully this wave will subside soon, and maybe it will lead to more complete checks. All the laws in the world won't help if they aren't enforced.
