Work-at-home mom and small business owner Theresa Powers (of Ripe for Harvest) recently got in touch with me with some exciting news: she and daughter Jessica have a brand new magazine on the way! Seasons at Home is going to be hot off the presses come October, and those of you who have an interest in homemaking issues of all types, including operating your own home-based or small business, may want to take a look at this one.
Lest you should think this "homemaking magazine for the whole family" is something that doesn't apply to the modern day Workerette, think on this: every working woman has a home of some sort to deal with. Whether you have a spouse, kids, elderly relatives to care for, or just yourself to look out for, sooner or later you've got to cook a meal, do a load of laundry, or clean something (unless you're living large and have a staff to do it all for you). Check out the premier issue and see if Theresa and Jessica's ideas are of assistance to you. I've been lucky enough to be offered a review copy; you can bet I'll let you know what I like or dislike about the new magazine!
(For those of you who are writers, here's a link to their submissions page as well. Let me know if you have an article chosen for a future edition of Seasons at Home!)
