Would you like to be mentored by a woman with a successful 30-year career in business? How would you like to be able to go through her Make-It-Happen Model, step by step, to figure out how to create "You, Inc." and help you become more responsible for your life and set yourself (you, your product, your services) apart from the many folks out there marketing themselves at the very same time?
That's basically what you can do by following the steps presented in Susan Bulkeley Butler's Become the CEO of You, Inc. Personally I don't think you can go wrong learning at the feet of a woman whose claims to fame include being the first woman partner (and ultimately the managing partner) of Accenture's Office of the CEO. As Susan says, she "will be your mentor, no matter whom or where you are!" This book includes her four step approach, lessons, and exercises to help you set a vision for yourself, establish a board of directors, make change happen and most importantly, in my eyes, to navigate the day-to-day journey.
I don't know about you, but I've found it's all well and good to have knowledge and an overall plan for the future to dream about; it's the day-to-day stuff that can bring me down! If you're of the same mind, or need help getting started on any of these issues, this is the book for you.
The book isn't the only resource Susan has to offer us Workerettes either - check out her website for lots of great information, including further info about her consulting services. Don't forget to sign up for her e-newsletter. Good stuff!
