Do you have an itch to organize? Or do you put it off and just try to ignore the growing piles until they threaten to cave in and bury you right there in your office?
A lot of the folks I know make the same New Year's resolution each January: to get organized. But I'm of a different mind. Why not get organized prior to the holidays? If you do that, you'll be less stressed and more able to enjoy work get-togethers and family gatherings during the celebrations, and you're bound to start the next year with a clean slate (okay, a cleaner slate *grin*). With tax season following the holidays so closely, isn't it a wise move to get all your affairs in order and ready to hand off to the accounting department or the folks at H&R Block?
Check out these great organizing blogs for some fantastic articles and tips - then get to organizing!
- Neat & Simple Living: Don't miss the series about organizing paper - the biggest stumbling block for a lot of folks I know who really *want* to get organized but don't know where to start.
- I'm an Organizing Junkie: You may have visited Laura thanks to my past Menu Plan Monday entries. Keep checking her blog for great ideas for organizing around the house. I bet a lot of her tips could be brought into the office or shops as well.
- Organising Queen: Yes, that's really spelled with an S - I didn't typo; she's based in South Africa. Marcia is a professional organizer (or would that be organiser?) of things, people, and lives - and she's putting together a research and development team. Woohoo! Go get the details and email her - but don't you dare take MY spot.
Speaking of which, I've got to go email her right now. Y'all have a safe and happy weekend!

Thank you so much for mentioning my article on your post! I really appreciate your kind words and apologize that I didn't know about this sooner! : )
All my best, Ariane
