Those of you who own your own businesses are well aware of the fact that effective marketing means taking advantage of all of the opportunities you have to spread the word about your products or services. It's vital to make the most of networking options to make sure other folks know what you have to offer. For military spouses, this is especially important. While you have what appears to be an "instant" clientele in the military community, you still have to know where and how to share your insights.
A resource has recently become available for both military spouses and businesses who are supporters of our troops: the Military Spouse Business Association. The MSBA offers networking and marketing opportunities to all military spouses who operate businesses, as well as access to information about financial readiness, self motivation, and business success.
The Red, White, and Blue Pages is a directory of spouse-owned businesses that is open to site visitors; an additional set of forums offer a "virtual water cooler" experience for members of the association.
If you or a Workerette you know would qualify for membership of the MSBA, it might be worth checking out. You may see some familiar names in the listings in the future! *hint hint*
