If you've been visiting Workerette.com for a while, you've surely noticed the other 100 business-focused blogs in the Know More Media network. Hopefully you've taken the time to visit some of those other blogs as well - if not, get to clickin', because KMM's authors provide excellent content and several of them will make you laugh out loud or nod your head in agreement pretty frequently.
You may also be familiar with the Canadian blogging network b5media. They, too, have some amazing authors, and they aren't exclusively business blogs. Both networks hit plenty of home runs in their fields, and a connection between the two has been growing stronger - especially this month!
Know More Media and b5media made an official announcement of their new partnership at the BlogWorld Expo. How appropos! KMM will license - among other things - b5media's publishing platform (trust me, to us authors that is a "good thing"); in return b5media receives a portion of equity in Know More Media. Both companies will remain separate entities, keeping their separate management and publishing teams.
Good things all around, folks. Come January I'll celebrate my two-year anniversary as a Know More Media author. (Envision me doing the happy dance, here.) I can tell you that the folks here at KMM are one of the best teams I've worked with in a variety of career paths, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the ins and outs of the b5 publishing technology to better offer you Workerettes material.
