I came across this blog about the day to day, semi-normal life of a female Marine today and I just have to share it with you Workerettes. All of us have days where things drag on and on. I just responded in a survey today that being a homeschooling, WAHM means that I'm on call pretty much 24/7. If the kids are asleep, somebody's still got to be there if they wake up.
But the next time you're feeling a little down in the mouth about your job, get on over to Sgt. Akinoluna's blog. Unless you're being shot at or are headed somewhere you will be, I'd say you and I have a lot to learn from her about job-induced stress. 
There's a lot of wit in her posts, ladies. I'm willing to bet you'll learn a lot. Personally I tend to frequent military spouse blogs, not those of servicemembers themselves. I only stumbled across this one because Blogger listed her as a Blog of Note.
I'm so glad they did! I just spent, uh, way too much time reading through her current posts and archives. Go check out her blog and tell me which post is your favorite. Frankly, I'm torn between this one and this one so far. Though the more serious posts will educate you as well....
