A few quick items for you ladies to look over:

• Tip for Scripture study: lay out several copies of the Bible, Koran, or religious/devotional books you want to tackle over time around the house.  That way whenever you have a moment in a room you can read a verse or two and work your way through - or ponder what you've read as you go about your day.
• Wanna be a writer?  Visit the websites of your favorite magazines and check under their "writer guidelines" or "submission guidelines" pages to see if they are looking for articles on a topic you're well-versed in.  You may discover a hidden talent for writing if you start out with a subject you're passionate about.  For instance, Mother Earth News is always on the lookout for tips and how-to articles from its green readers!
