Know More Media, Inc. is celebrating their two year anniversary (or would that be blog-iversary?) today! I'm incredibly excited about this because it means my two year anniversary with Know More Media is coming up soon! Yes, even though the time has appeared to fly right by, it's actually been that long since I joined the KMM team. For those who are new readers, I originally joined Know More Media as the author of SmallBizMentor (which is now in the highly capable hands of Yvonne Russell). A few weeks later I started here at Workerette.com - and the rest is, as they say, history.
Online publishing has grown by leaps and bounds each year and frankly, I'm amazed at the growth I've seen firsthand. It's not every day that a freelance writer gets picked up to join a network of absolutely phenomenal editors and writers, all experts in their fields. Some of the folks on the KMM team are business owners first and choose to share their wealth of knowledge with those of us in the blogosphere. Others of us have experience in writing and a passion for researching a topic with you wonderful readers. The executive team at KMM - don't even get me started on how incredible they are! They've always done their best to provide KMM authors with great resources and prompt answers to questions, and now they've continued to do so while making wise business decisions for the benefit of the entire network and you, the readers.
I could go on all day, and you Workerettes know what it's like when I start to ramble. *chuckle* Suffice it to say that I'm super excited to celebrate KMM's "birthday" and I'm looking forward to sharing many more anniversaries with them in the future. On a personal level, they gave a newly single mom a steady income and a chance to get back into the publishing world; they've shared my excitement when I remarried and had my son. On a professional level, the folks here at KMM have given me support and training, understanding when I needed a leave of absence during my pregnancy, and the go-ahead to focus on one blog instead of two. Now I just have to figure out what on earth I can give THEM!
To the fantastic management team, editors, and authors of Know More Media: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AND MANY, MANY MORE TO COME!

You are right at the top of my list of bloggers I want to meet, Melonie. We've worked side-by-side for nearly two whole years now - a long time as far as blogging goes - and seen each other go through moves and big family-related events etc. I've always found your writing enjoyable and informative, and I consider myself blessed to work with you here.
