Did you know that Workerette is up to almost 1,000 posts? As of a few minutes ago, we're at 955 posts. So I think it's time to start gearing up for a contest with some fun prizes, don't you?
Here's the skinny:
Leave a comment on this post with the date you think post number 1,000 will be up on Workerette.com. The best part? You don't have to actually pick the right date!
The rules:
1) When you leave your comment, you must fill out the name and email address fields. If you have a blog or website, be sure to leave the URL for your site as well. No anonymous comments will be accepted - I must know your name and email address in order to contact you if you win!
2) If you have a blog, be sure to post a link to this entry to promote the contest - leave the permalink to your post in your comment. That way everybody involved in the linky love gets more traffic!
3) You don't have to pick the right date for post number 1,000 to win! Here's how it works: when I actually post entry number 1,000, I will go into an online random number generator and let IT select a winner from the number of commenters on this post. I will post the winner, along with a list of the prizes, in entry number 1,001!
4) Duplicate comments will be deleted. No fudging on the numbers and upping your chances by commenting multiple times if you have three email addies! (The blogging software tracks your IP address, folks.)
5) You must be a US or Canadian resident (or have a shipping address in the USA or Canada) to receive your prize package. While I appreciate the readership which is worldwide, shipping issues limit the prizewinning to North America at this time.
