As I mentioned yesterday, I was tagged again for a meme. I planned to tackle it yesterday, but didn't get around to it, so today I'm using it to kill two birds with one post, so to speak. Here's my Tackle for Tackle It Tuesday: the answers to Rosalind's meme. (For expediency's sake I'm just linking to my tagger, and not putting up any "taggees" today. I have a bunch of other things to tell you ladies!)
- I used to be thrilled with tilapia as they are fast and easy to cook - I was so proud of myself. Now they just creep me out. I ended up not making baked tilapia last night!
- One of these days I'm going to answer my own Meet & Greet questions and post them here for you ladies! Really. Honest. It's on my mind - I promise!
- Also on my tackle list for today: an article and about 8 posts for two blogs. Eek! I need something that can read my mind and type for me. Oh, and pull all my ideas together in one concise, legible format....
- The clock on my laptop is stuck on a day and time - no matter how many times I "fix" it and hit apply, it doesn't change. It's changed 6 minutes since yesterday. Last time it was stuck on 11 November until, uh, yesterday when I fixed it. With all the things I CAN do on a computer, I can't fix a stupid CLOCK program.
- It's around the holidays that I am even more grateful than usual that I no longer have to be a part of the retail management "family". WOOOOhoo. I feel for those of you dealing with long lines, long shifts, and cranky customers. *Hug!*
- I truly believe that you can't expect your employees to perform tasks that you refuse to do. I took out the trash plenty of times in my day. Oh wait, I'm a WAHM - I still do; and back then it didn't have diapers in it! ;-P
- One of the best parts of my job is visiting other people's blogs. That's why I love doing "Must-Visit Blog" posts and spreading the link love. There are some amazing folks out there in the blogosphere, no matter what your (or their) interests.
