Women at work and their tips, challenges, advice, complaints, and experiences

Okay gals, I have GOT to pass this one along to you as today's absolute MUST visit site.  Bonnie Price (author of the After 55 blog over at WomenEntrepreneur.com, among many other things) has unveiled an incredibly exciting project: Silver Vixens.  I may not be a woman of "a certain age" just yet, but I can still recognize quality writing when I see it.  I read through several pages of the site and knew immediately that I'd be really sore with myself if I didn't get over here right away and tell you Workerettes about this wonderful website!

First of all, those of you who are George Clooney fans will enjoy the picture and message on the home page. And as a military wife and former Army brat, I have to confess I teared up while reading the spotlight message from Valerie Morris.

That's not the half of it though.  There's plenty more to see and do, even if you don't have a membership yet.  (Memberships are only $55 by the way, and you can even pick up a gift membership - or several - for the sisters of a certain age in your life.)  The "Smile" page has inspiration for anyone of any age; or at least I found today's winter ideas applicable to anyone.  But read as far as you can at a glance and you'll find wisdom in Bonnie's comments about remarrying later in life; you'll get a good chuckle out of her adventures in a convertible; and you'll get to know some incredible women like Valerie Morris, Marilyn Price, and Susan Nugent.  Not that the other ladies aren't incredible too - but I'm trying to get you to go visit them RIGHT NOW!  That's right: click over to Silver Vixens and get a good laugh, a good cry, and some great ideas.  Be sure to tell the Vixens who sent you their way.
