The Washington Toxics Coalition, based in Seattle, WA, recently announced an opening for an Executive Director. Here are the very basics of the job posting:
Washington Toxics Coalition is seeking a dynamic, resourceful, proven leader to guide this highly effective nonprofit towards achieving its ambitious mission to protect public health and the environment by eliminating toxic pollution. The Executive Director must be a highly strategic thinker with a strong capacity to guide staff in managing and implementing programs, while building upon the entrepreneurial, bold and fast-paced nature of the organization’s work.
This announcement comes as the organization also makes announcements about the creation of the Safe Start for Kids project, an effort to help protect children from toxic chemicals in items from toys to baby bottles and sippy cups.
To learn more about this organization, the requirements of the open position, or to submit your resume for review, visit the job announcement page on the Coalition's website. Remember, neither I nor Know More Media are affiliated with companies whose job postings I pass on here; I have no say in the hiring/recruiting process of any companies listed, nor do I receive word from them when they fill a position. However, if you are ever hired for a spot mentioned here, I'd sure like to know! That way your sister Workerettes can congratulate you and cheer you on!
