Want more money news?  Check out this article about the economic stimulus checks to be sent out this spring. I have to admit, I'm more than mildly shocked that so many of the people polled said they'd use the money to pay off bills (an amazing 45%), with 32% saying they'd save or invest it.  Unfortunately this particular article doesn't mention how many people were polled, but I'm rather encouraged to see those sorts of numbers.  If nothing else, the economic stimulus bill checks will stimulate the economy in one very sure way: by (hopefully) creating slightly less debt on the personal level for citizens.  Now, about that whole enlarging of the budget deficit at the federal level issue to pay for it - hmmmm....

Last I heard that was called "robbing Peter to pay Paul"!  *sigh*  But since you have to complete your 2007 taxes in order to get a check this May, it is a stimulus to get folks into the accountant ASAP!  (Good for accountants and H&R Block, eh?) 

Well, Workerettes, come what may, those of us who download and read Suze's financial advice can get some wisdom about what to do with those checks when they come.  Or what not to do with them.  Y'all get the point.  *grin*
