Do you ladies remember all the hubbub about the loss of Lily magazine? And how I later posted about its replacement, Life: Beautiful?
Well, I never was able to find a copy in my area to review - then we moved to California and the local bookstore has a pretty pathetic newsstand if you're looking for anything of real substance. (At least the kind of substance that is family-focused, I should say. *sigh*)
So imagine my glee when I logged on today for work and lo and behold, found a comment from Carleen Sipes, Managing Editor of Life: Beautiful, offering me a review copy of the publication! Don't doubt for a moment that I was hopping RIGHT ON that offer! *grin*
Carleen has been kind enough to send me a note saying she would send me copies of both the premiere issue AND the winter/holiday issue to review for you ladies! Even better, she's still got a limited number of back issues if you've been trying to get your hands on them. You can call (877) 672-0436 to order them or visit their website. Hello! I too was disappointed when I heard about the lost of "Lily". Somehow a while back I lost my copy of Lily Magazine. I was so disappointed by this that I started my on personal research to find another copy. Which lead me to the editor's office of "Life Beautiful". Though I never got a response back from her. I was asked by her assistant to look for the new "Life Beautiful". That was freshly enterting the news stands.
Well' I did! And what an awesome fresh start. I really like the new magazine too. We know that, nothing can keep a good woman down when she has a mind full of dreams!
I still miss my "Lily". Though. If you know anyone that has one or wants to sell their copy at a reasonable price, I am willing to purchase it! Just email me and the money is on the way.
